Junction TV signs deal with 8MNetworks to launch the first Netflix type VoD service in India

In its introductory venture into the Indian market, Junction TV has signed an agreement with 8MNetworks to launch the first Netflix-style Video-on-Demand service in India.

8MNetworks has acquired rights to an impressive array of Indian movie and television content and Junction TV is using its cloud-based platform to create a comprehensive SVoD and TVoD service for content delivery to multiple screens.

Junction TV and 8MNetworks plan to evolve this service into the leading VoD service in India providing access to the largest library of global content.
